Reverse Osmosis you can trust
Reverse osmosis is a water filtration process that forces water molecules through a fine, semi-permeable membrane at a high pressure. During this process, contaminants and impurities are trapped in the pores of the membrane and clean water is fed into a tank and stored for later use.
Here’s a quick step by-step breakdown of reverse osmosis:
- Water from the supply line with a higher concentration of contaminants is sent through the pre-filtration stage.
- Carbon filters. Reduces the amount of chlorine, VOCs, and other water contaminants that can damage the R.O membrane.
- Sediment filter: Reduces dirt, sand, and other particles that can clog the RO system.
- Water is sent through the reverse osmosis membrane where additional impurities are trapped, removed, and flushed down the drain
- The clean water – now with a lower concentration of contaminants – is then sent to a storage tank where it is held until needed. Most storage tanks hold between 2-4 gallons of water.
- As the clean water is accessed, it flows from the storage tank through a post filter for further “polishing” to remove any additional tastes or odors before making its way to the faucet.
Benefits of Reverse Osmosis
- Reduced contaminants: Reverse osmosis can reduce a wide range of contaminants and impurities in your drinking water, including:
Produces delicious water that also promotes better overall health for your family or business
A reverse osmosis system eliminates around 97% of total dissolved solids (TDSS) from waste sodium.
Water Softener and Water Conditioner Systems
A water softener is a whole-house filtration system that removes hardness-causing calcium and magnesium minerals from your water through a process called ion exchange. A water softener addresses one of the most prevalent and devastating water problems hard water. Scale builds up in your pipes, clogging them and decreasing water pressure. Scale dramatically shortens the lifespan of appliances like dishwashers, coffee makers and ice machines. Hard water destroys hot water appliances. The higher the temperature of the water, the more calcium and magnesium will solidify and harden into solid deposits inside your hot water heater.
What is a water conditioner?
Water conditioning is the process of altering or removing minerals, chemicals, and contaminants from a water source. Today more than ever, there is a growing concern about our water supplies containing a multitude of contaminants such as chlorine, ammonia, chloramines, and many other harmful chemicals. This system doesn’t remove the minerals that make water hard, but it rather changes the composition of water to stop crystals from scaling on your pipes and fixtures.
Benefits of Water Softener
- Cleaner hair and softer skin: Alleviate the effects hard water has on your body because of a loss of natural oils in your skin and hair and also can help balance your hair’s pH level.
- Brighter and softer clothes: Softener water dissolves detergent more effectively; you can use less detergent and may not need fabric softeners at all.
- Cleaner Dishes Soft Ware is easily listed with soaps and detergent; there is more soap suds and more cleaning action in your dishwashing routine, save soap, time, and money.
- Plumbing: Extends the life of your plumbing systems and water using appliances and also reduces the risk of clogs and corrosion caused by mineral buildup.
- Save money: A water Softener is a good way to reduce energy consumption and costs for your home.
Benefits of Water Conditioner
- No need products chemicals; this water softening technology does not use chemicals in any way.
- No more sodium: Scale stopper do not add sodium to your water which is better for the people that want to reduce the sodium intake.
- Longer pipe lifetime: Improve the efficiency and lifespan of your piping systems, resulting in lower maintain efficiency costs.
- Reduce water odor : water conditioners reduce the impurities found in water taste better by improving the quality of your water supply
